Here in Orlando Birthday Party Celebrations can be quite over the top, and belly dancing at them is nothing short of a blast! This past weekend I was lucky enough to be selected to perform for a 60th birthday party being held at the Crown Plaza Hotel on International drive in Orlando, FL.I have performed there several times over the years so the staff already recognizes me, and were wonderful in helping me store my belongings and ensuring the timing was just right before I came out to perform.
The wife of the birthday boy wanted to make sure that this was not only the best birthday party her husband ever had, but made me feel great when she selected me because she wanted the best possible belly dancer <3.
As soon as I stepped foot on the dance floor, the show was ablaze with laughter, awe, excitement, and wonder, and the birthday boy “cut a rug” to puzzles “its my birthday” I had selected to top off the show.This blog is to thank a very wonderful part of the festivities, the photographer! Damond was in charge of photography for the event and as a close family friend, he really wanted to make sure to capture every important moment.
Photographers are such a key component in any event and as a belly dancer, I truly appreciate their interest in our art form and all of the moments they capture. Without their support, we would have no lovely professional photographs to share.
What I appreciated was not just Damond’s professionalism but his promptness and speed in sending over photographs. Getting photographs from photographers can be like pulling teeth sometimes, and I still have photographs pending from years ago believe it or not! Having someone who sends you photographs in the same week, is such a treat!
