Workshops and Passes
Welcome! We are so excited to bring Casandra Fox to Orlando and to learn her signature style. Below you will find the full workshop schedule. The ENTIRE event is being held at the Full Sail University Treehouse: 519 S. Semoran Blvd, Building 4E. Winter Park, FL 32792.
Only V.I.P and daily passes are being offered at this time. Spots are limited in order to maintain the intimate experience we want this event to deliver.
Please arrive to the workshops at least 15 minutes early in order to check in. Workshops will begin on time. Doors will be open at 9:30am each day so that we can get everyone checked in on time.

Saturday Day Pass

- The Sunday Day Pass includes both workshops and the discussion panel. Price does NOT include a Saturday gala show ticket.

Saturday Dec. 7th
Time: 10:00am – 11:00am
Shimmy Chic Fitness is a fun workout based on the Art of Belly Dance with a modern twist. Great for ALL levels and the perfect warm up for the weekend! Join Anais Fatale Saturday morning and give your body the hearty warm-up and stretch it needs to make it through the weekend!
Drum Solo Technique & Choreography
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
On overview of strength in technique to help create a fun and exciting drum solos. Special attention will be given to creating power and fluidity on movements while keeping them clean and sharp.
Introduction to Caribbean Fusion
Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Introduction to the music, and movements of Caribbean dance (Dancehall, soca, reggae, reggaeton etc) and the technique behind the movements. A look at music choices and movements that work for a fusion with belly dance.
Sunday December 8th
The Human Orchestra
Time: 10:00am – 11:50am
Get ready to dive into this immensely hands-on experience. The students will be arranged into sections as part of an overall “orchestra” with Jennifer as the “Conductor”. Guided exercises in how each member of the human orchestra” is dependent on the other in the musical piece using ear training will be taught. Examples of exercises are: “spirit instrument”: discover which instrument family moves your soul; “instrument matching” (matching your musical partner on one side of the room to the sound across the room from another member of the orchestra; “composers intention”: LISTENING to the musical cues in a song the composer purposefully included in order to guide your choreographic process more appropriately.

Panel Discussion: Body Image
All 3 Instructors
Time: 12:00pm – 2:00pm (bring lunch)
As dancers, our work is open to critique by the public. While the feedback is extremely important to our growth as artists, at times, the shift focuses from our dance to our appearance by the general public and even our dance peers. How do we cope when questions about our body image is expressed online? Do you feel that you must fit a certain “ideal” body weight in order to perform your profession? Have you ever been given a gig, or had a gig taken away due to your body type? Let’s have an open and supportive discussion on how to maneuver this aspect of our dance lives and discuss methods to not only educate others, but to empower our community to better support each other and overcome the hurdles that dancing here rather than “over there” can present to us as dancers.
Shimmy While You Twerk
Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Shimmies, shimmies, and Shimmies! Layers and some booty movements to add a unique and cheeky element to your dancing! Also learn some twerking movements to help strengthen your dance, get a great workout and increase stamina. This is a fun high energy workshop. Knee pads or a yoga mat required.
