There is a lot of nostalgia going on with the O-town Bellydance Intensive. The studio for the entire event (Cindy’s Dance Studio) was Jennifer’s first main bellydance studio, where she learned this beautiful Art form almost 20 years ago, with her first instructor, Jolie of Elements of Dance.
From the moment you enter, you are greeted with chandeliers, warm wood, and a historic backdrop that has been home to thousands of dancers over the decades. This space is personal and full of dreams. The O-Town Bellydance Intensive is about creating connection, having open conversations, learning, and excelling in your growth. We can’t wait to share this experience with you!

Every year, we think of talented teachers who have devoted their lives to exploring, researching, sharing, and performing Middle Eastern, North African, Turkish, or Hellenistic dances and their personal stylizations and interpretations.
We take a lot of time deciding, as we want a teahcer that is clear and giving. A performer who is well-rounded and captivating, and a person who will warm our hearts and provide our community of artists and dancers with inspiration and valuable guidance.

Joining Forces
Jennifer and Anais have been co-producing events in the Central Florida community for almost a decade. From Cassandra's Caribbean Invasion in 2029 to the O-town Bellydance Intensive (our rebranded event). Both have taken their love for fostering community and learning and joined forces to make these bellydance intensives come to fruition. Their friendship has provided the basis for a fun and dynamic combination that creates events by dancers, for dancers.
The O-Town Bellydance Intensive event focuses on providing an intensive experience, where you can not just learn from the artist, but get the opportunity to talk and get to know the human behind the glitz.
We are creating more than a workshop weekend; we share local MENAHT businesses, invite the MENAHT community of Greater Orlando to be an integral part of it all, and go above typical bellydance events by purposefully building in time to connect and meet new people.
We thank our community for their support all these years. It is a group effort to bring these talented artists and craftsmen together from across the globe, and we will continue to serve our communities and highlight MENAHT businesses and groups in the work we do.
Anais Fatale
CEO of Cute Things & Your Contact During the Event
Anais Fatale loves introducing women to the art of belly dance and showing them how belly dancing can help them find happiness and independence.
Born in Uzbekistan, she grew up listening to songs from Turkey, Lebanon, and Egypt that were popular for Western artists to translate and sing. Becoming a belly dancer brought her freedom, creativity, and self-expression.
She began teaching belly dance because there wasn’t anyone offering classes in her town. She wanted people to experience happiness and independence in her belly dance classes and workshops. Anais Fatale's approach to teaching belly dance is to dedicate time in each class to let people experience freedom, creativity, and self-expression through dancing and flowing to belly dance music.
Jennifer
Behind-the-Scenes Logistics and Social Butterfly
Jennifer is a world champion belly dance winner, author, teacher, and Let's Talk Podcast producer. She is also a co-host of the O-Town Bellydance Intensive and seeks to create events that open up opportunities to learn from experienced dancers, provoke deep conversation in a supportive setting, and build more in-person interaction and appreciation with dancers and the MENAHT community.
Her background as a musician has given her a deep appreciation for this Art and all of its intricacies. Her mission as a performer is to bring the composer's piece to life and share a connection with the audience.
She is a dancer's dancer. Always striving to connect in-person, share inspiration, grow, and keep her local community dance scene improving.

True to our roots, we believe in giving back to the community and lifting each other up. The last few years have been so overwhelming with the ongoing conflict in the beautiful countries where the dances we love so much hail from and economic shifts.
