Hi everyone and I hope you will enjoy this day of workshops to get you closer to your 2014 dance goals. It is an honor to have Hind here in Central Florida gracing us with two workshops we hope the dancers here will really enjoy and benefit from. She is Canadian/Lebanese powerhouse who has been hailed by masters such as Dina and Randa Kamel amongst many others for her authentic and beautiful dancing and feeling.
Even if you are not Egyptian style like me, learning new combinations, theory on choreography, gaining a deeper knowledge of shaabi beyond the basics, and tapping into your emotionalism and cultural awareness is something we all gain from.

What: A day of workshop with this master instructor and performer!
When: Saturday April 19th, 2014. Workshops will run from 11am-5pm with an hour break for lunch/refining notes in between. Please arrive up to 30minutes early to check-in and claim a spot. Space is limited.
Where: Florida Tribal Dance Studio which is conveniently located in the heart of Orlando.

Here are the Workshops!
Shabby Workshop (11am-2pm)
Hind will be teaching a Shabby choreography filled with energetic, cheeky, and sassy moves to a famous Egyptian song! Learn the meaning behind all of those hand gestures and spunk used in shabby. Hind is known for her emotional feeling along with her choreographies full of interesting moves & combinations. Duration: 3hrs.
The Theory Behind Choreography and Oriental Piece (3pm-5pm)
Hind begin this class with a theoretical discussion on how to create your own personal choreographies. Hinds’ choreographies are precise and well-thought-out resulting in her work being embraced and compared to the famous Egyptian stars. Learn the tips, tricks, and ideology behind the choreography creation process and strengthen your ability to express music through your dance in a complete, interesting and well formulated manner!
The class will then be followed by an oriental piece that she is in the process of creating for her students in Singapore that includes some of her own stylistic signature moves! Duration: 2hrs.
